Mortician Kristoffer Hughes (alias Maggi Noggi) leaves the Welsh mortuaries on this deep, personal journey into the world of death - from the ancient practice of open air cremation to the new science of body composting.

[edit] Chapter 1: Mexico

Kris travels to Mexico to experience the festival of The Day of The Dead. Although known for its bright, vibrant processions accompanied by food, drink and partying, this striking celebration has a poignant meaning in which indigenous people honour their deceased loved ones.

Kris travels to India's holiest city, Varanasi, to experience open-air cremation, death hotels and the extreme figure of the Aghori Baba on the banks of the Ganges.

Kris looks at Hollywood's obsession with death, expensive caskets, and the new science of human composting in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Kris travels into the Indonesian jungle to meet a tribe who re-erect the bodies of loved ones.
